About Speed Wobble

Speed Wobble is a motorcycle training, media, and performance brand built to help riders progress beyond basics—bridging the gap between track days and race-level skill.

Why Speed Wobble Exists

Speed Wobble was built for riders who wanted more than basic instruction—but weren’t trying to “figure it out” alone at the track. Most riders hit a ceiling: they’re fast enough to get in trouble, but missing the structure that creates real consistency.
We created Speed Wobble to bridge that gap with progression-focused coaching, race-proven technique, and a community that keeps riders improving.

Our Philosophy

Progression

Train with purpose. Build skills step-by-step.

Control First

Speed is a result of control, not chaos.

Real Technique

Fundamentals proven at pace and pressure.

Community

Progress happens faster when you’re not doing it alone.

The Speed Wobble Method

  • Build the Foundation

Vision, braking, and body position—done correctly.

  • Develop Consistency

Reference points, repeatability, and calm inputs at speed.

  • Unlock Performance

Racecraft principles applied to real riders and real track days.

Proven on Track: Rancor Red Racing

Speed Wobble powers Rancor Red Racing—our competitive race program that sharpens the same skills we teach. Racing isn’t the goal for everyone, but the discipline behind it—vision, precision, and repeatability—makes every rider better.
We use what racing demands to refine how training is delivered: clear technique, calm decision-making, and progression that actually sticks.

FAQ

Who is Speed Wobble training for?

Speed Wobble is built for riders who want to progress beyond basics. Our training is ideal for intermediate street riders, track-day riders, and those looking to build race-ready fundamentals. If you’re focused on improving control, consistency, and confidence—not just chasing speed—you’ll fit right in.

Do I need prior track experience to train with Speed Wobble?

No. While many of our riders have track experience, it’s not required. Our programs are designed to meet riders where they are and build skills progressively. Whether you’re new to the track or refining advanced technique, the focus is on fundamentals that translate across all levels.

Is Speed Wobble only for racers?

Not at all. Racing influences how we train, but racing is not the goal for everyone. We use race-proven techniques—like vision, braking discipline, and reference points—to help everyday riders become smoother, safer, and more confident. The skills apply to street riding, track days, and beyond.

What makes Speed Wobble different from other motorcycle training programs?

Most programs stop at basic instruction or leave riders to figure out progression on their own. Speed Wobble bridges that gap by offering structured, progression-focused training rooted in real-world performance riding. Our approach emphasizes repeatability, control, and understanding why techniques work—not just what to do.

What types of motorcycles do you work with?

We work with a wide range of sport and sport-oriented motorcycles, from middleweights to liter bikes. The principles we teach—vision, braking, throttle control, and body position—apply across platforms. If you’re unsure whether your bike is a good fit, feel free to contact us.

Where does Speed Wobble training take place?

Training primarily takes place at Southern California track venues and organized riding events. Specific locations and dates are listed on our Training and Register pages as they become available. However, we also train riders on their local canyon roads if they are not ready to enter a track environment. Our focus is on safe progression.

Is Speed Wobble training safe?

Safety is foundational to everything we do. Our focus on vision, smooth inputs, and structured progression helps riders reduce risk while improving performance. We emphasize control-first riding and situational awareness rather than aggressive or reckless behavior. Motorcycle riding is dangerous in itself, thus the need for professional training.

How do I get started with Speed Wobble?

The best place to start is by exploring our Training programs and registering for an upcoming session. If you have questions or want help choosing the right path, you can also contact us directly—we’re happy to help guide you.
